One
of the aims of schooling is to build confidence and make students speak
effectively. Students should learn to communicate well their thoughts,
especially fluently and spontaneously. We try to nurture the same in our
students providing them ample opportunity for freedom of expression. Our
students learn how to present themselves on stage. This builds confidence among
them.
Talk
show represents the same. Talk show is nothing but public speaking. We, at
Orchids, organized a talk show competition on 12/10/12 for our pp – I and PP –
II students. It was a prepared and oral presentation. PP - I students spoke on fruits and vegetables
while PP – II spoke on community helpers. Each and every student of PP – I came
on to the stage and spoke about either a fruit or a vegetable holding the same.
PP- II students were dressed like community helpers and spoke about them. They
were also holding the things that are used by community helpers. Our students
were very bold and spoke very well. They enjoyed each and every moment of it.
